چکیده
This paper examines the resultant impact of environmental degradation on the temporal dynamics in between 2001 and 2006. Data for the study are from both primary and secondary sources. The primary source is the survey of selected settlements and heads of households in which a questi technique was employed in the selection of sample. This involves a systematic random selection of 785 heads of households (10 per cent) out of 7,810 households enumerated in 10 settlements, drawn randomly fr in the study area. The data collected were analyzed, using the test. The results show significant temporal changes in the occupations of the labour force (t=-12.93, df=754, p<0.05) over the two human activities is recommended for sustainable development of the physical environment and labour force of Delta State, Nigeria
